Our Mission

The Jamieson Ritter Foundation empowers Jamieson’s life of service by awarding the Jamieson Ritter Foundation Public Service Award to the graduating senior at McQuaid Jesuit who best exemplifies Jamieson’s memory. The Foundation also supports safer communities and causes dear to Jamieson and the Ritter family.

Some of our current initiatives include:

Collaborating with Kindland, presented by Values-in-Action, on the inaugural “Ritter Way” award. Values-in-Action is a non-profit that has been part of the fabric of Cleveland for 29 years. They create meaningful cultural change by empowering students and adults to lead with values.

Collaborating with Rochester, NY-based Consortium for Safer Communities to explore solutions to improve public safety in upstate New York.
